Northeast Texas homestead

Two acres, too many opinions, and one surprise rabbit.

Welcome to Inzunza Ranch, a small family homestead where the horses are the main event, the dogs supervise loudly, and apparently pets can be added by stealth if you are committed enough.

About the ranch

A little rustic, a little sarcastic, fully committed.

Inzunza Ranch is home to two adult horses, a new foal, six dogs, two ferrets, two cats, and Nellie the rabbit, who joined the family through an unauthorized but impressively sustained indoor residency. The horses came from family and are now part of our daily rhythm, our learning curve, and our growing list of chores that sounded easier before we owned pitchforks.

Current project

Turning horse waste into compost, because glamour has layers.

One of the first ranch projects is learning how to turn horse waste into useful compost. The project page will track what we try, what works, what absolutely does not, and what future us wishes current us had labeled better.
